Thank you for contacting CyberLink Technical Support. I reinstalled PD 16, after I had installed 18, from their links and it seems to have restrored them in 16. Their suggestion of using the Boris Fx in 16 (for the segment you want to aplly to), and then producing it - importing into 18 - continue editing, sure seems like a lot of work. A bit of a hassle to do, as It is always nicer just to produce the video under one application. Hello, I have experienced the same issue just upgraded from 16 to 18 (365 version) and the plugins are missing.ĭid you manage to restore them? if so how?īelow is the response that I received from Cyberlink Tech Support. » PD18 upgrade install deletes FX from PD16 Is Magic Style still available in PD 20 or has it been deleted from it ? The Magic Style, previously, just applyied the style to a selected portion on the time line but Magic Movie Wizard replaces the whole timeline with it's process. I realize that you can access the styles from Magic Movie Wizard, but don't want to go through that whole process. I am having trouble finding where they have moved Magic Style to. I also have Vegas Pro and Corel VS and the issue does not happen in these programs. I decided to test it in PD18 as well and it has the same result !!Īnyone else have this issue or is it just inherent in PD. I have tried trimming from various commands - trimmer window, timeline, flyout menu - and the result is still the same. I noticed at at first during the fade transition, so removed this to see if this was the culprit but it was not. When stretching out the file to the maximum, and then replayed it cuts to silent in the last frames as mentioned above. It really breaks up the cohesiveness of the sound. At each transition or cut the sound of the motorcycle drops out noticeably. I have tried various formats and sources of files and it is the same result.Īs an example - I have a number of clips of a motorcyle ride together on the timeline. I have an issue that is quite noticeable with the audio track of a video cutting out for the last 5-6 or so frames on the timeline. Not sure where the extra audio stream got added in, I can only assume it was during the handbrake conversion. Back in the early days the AVI's where just too big to be handled well by video editors and that was the reason for the conversion. ![]() I still have all the original AVI files, so will do the project with these files even though they are extremely large. I then recreated the short video in PD with the same cuts and the problem was solved no sound loss at cuts. I then converted the file through Avidemux and deleted one of the audio streams. When I realized the conversion had added an extra audio stream I figured that could have something to do with the issue. ![]() I had converted all the files to MP4 using Handbrake and when checked in MediaInfo shows 1 video stream and 2 audio streams (1 -AAC and 1-AC3). I checked the file through MediaInfo and it has 1 video stream and one audio stream (PCM). ![]() The video was captured from DVC tapes (back in the day) through firewire. I am posting this, just in case someone else runs into this issue. I am replying to my own topic, as I have spent most of the day on this and seem to have deciphered what is going on. Has this option been deleted in PD20 or am I missing something simple ? It would be hilighted so that I could go right to it without having to scroll through the complete timeline. This was handy when trying to find a clip that I may want to delete or alter. In PD18 I could right click on a media file and one of the selections was "Find In Timeline". I have projects that have numerous clips on the timeline. I have recently upgraded to PD 20 from 18. » "Find In Timeline" selection has disappeared ?
